Verdict

Somekindofstar was only fifth at Wetherby after winning a month earlier at Warwick while Coupdebol was a long way behind GEMIRANDE when third at Hereford. The latter will strip fitter here and is overdue a first success over the larger obstacles in this country. Ballinsker has gone backwards since scoring at Chepstow in the spring and Lermoos Legend is also struggling for form but there are possibilities about Our Jet switching to fences and Feivel’s third at Hexham was not without promise. Ripper Roo and Rakhine State have both been off the track for a while.
