Ruby Valentine was sent off favourite on her return at Bangor but never figured. She may do better here but is probably high enough in the weights at present. Crack At Dawn's best form is over fences and he's another worth opposing at the weights, while Before Bruce is still a maiden after 11 starts over timber. Tip Of My Tongue needs to improve dramatically on what he's shown so far if he's to figure but there's a chance the handicapper may have underestimated GOODWILL PHIL. He returns from more than a year on the sidelines but has hinted at ability and, now with Lawney Hill, could find further improvement. Market support would be significant and he gets the nod.
