SNOW OCEAN was having only his second start for David Evans when beaten in a handicap over track and trip. Proven on the surface, he gets the vote given he’s weighted to beat Oblate. The latter finished runner-up here recently and should be in the mix again but the remainder debut on the Fibresand including the penalised Healing Power, who made a winning start at Chelmsford earlier this month. Cathedral Street found 1m2f too far at Beverley when well beaten in second and can figure if handling the track with Archon perhaps best of the rest.
