      Verdict

SHARRON MACREADY still showed signs of inexperience at Nottingham but prevailed by a neck to beat the re-opposing Phoenix Beach. She’ll know more today and may well confirm running despite the worse terms. Elettaria finished third at Ffos Las on her debut and should improve past the more exposed Palifico while the newcomer Laconic can boast four winning relatives including a couple of winners on the all-weather.
