Verdict
Having completed a double over 7f here, there was a suspicion Hammer Gun may struggle upped in class and trip at Chelmsford last time. But Derek Shaw’s progressive charge put that notion to bed with another victory and carries a 6lb penalty today. However, BOOTS AND SPURS (NAP) found the latter too good when third here last time but re-opposes on much better terms and looks to have strong claims of turning the tables in this. He’s preferred to claiming winner Muqarred, well beaten stepped up to 1m4f last time, but House Of Commons and Order Of Service should go well again.
