    Verdict

Broughton Knows is on a roll and should be followed until finally beaten, with Shatin Special taken to chase him home. Bill Musson has worked wonders with Broughton Knows over the past few weeks, the seven-year-old reeling of a four-timer, ridden each time by Lisa Jones. He has plenty of stamina although middle-distances suit him well at present, and he can take yet another banded race while still eligible. It is hard to find one to beat him and so the forecast may be the best option, with Shatin Special put forward as the one to occupy the runner-up spot. Gregory Chung's four-year-old, none the worse for a tumble here at the start of the month, went on to win a moderate event at Wolverhampton before being well held behind Bramantino in handicap company just three days ago. In receipt of weight from Broughton Knows, she makes more appeal than course and distance scorer Stravmoor, and can give the selection a race without being good enough.
