The Evan Williams-trained Minella For Food was good value for his win in a selling hurdle at Exeter last month and has to be respected back over fences but he has disappointed in his two previous starts over the larger obstacles and a better bet looks to be OMME ANTIQUE, who gets the verdict ahead of Tanners Court. Caroline Dyson's gelding was good value for his win at Southwell earlier this month when back on good ground after a few disappointing efforts on testing going and the13-year-old has to be respected on similar ground today but he has gone up 6lbs for that success. Michael Chapman's Feeling Peckish is hard to recommend on recent form and of more interest may be Katalak, who has been running consistently well in recent outings and he should be thereabouts again. Paul Murphy's Greenandredparson has run better in his last two starts over fences, finding one too good on each occasion, and he is another to consider but preference is for Omme Antique. The Venetia Williams-trained gelding showed improved form when chasing home Josear at Taunton last time and he has solid claims off a 1lb lower mark today.
