Riddlestown won over fences here earlier this month and has also gone well over hurdles on the track so should make a bold bid to defy a big weight. CHAMPION CHASE has his first start in a handicap, however, and looks well treated. Kim Bailey's charge would have finished closer at Lingfield last month but for a last-flight mistake and was racing over an inadequate trip so everything points to a big run here. Another lightly-raced type, Sauvignon, looks an obvious threat after showing his first sign of ability here last week and is another likely to start climbing the ratings before long. It's two years since Zamoyski ran over timber but he won on the Flat at Haydock last summer.
