      Verdict

      Desert Fury is given another chance to shine under Robert Winston, while High Swainson and King Zafeen are also respected. The last named is lightly raced and is sure to be placed to good effect by his shrewd trainer. The son of Lend A Hand is well worth keeping tabs on in this grade. High Swainson ran a little too freely for his own good last time out and had nothing left to offer near the finish. Paul Fessey is unlikely to make the same mistake here and a bold bid is anticipated. A case can also be made for Wood Fern off his current rating. However, he may need this reappearance to bring him on and he may be one to watch with an eye to the future. Desert Fury, on the other hand, has run into a rich vein of form lately and, as Winston knows him very well, this tough nine-year-old is taken to show his younger rivals a thing or two when it really matters.
