TIGU is given the vote to overcome a seven pound penalty for winning at Fakenham last week, while both Team Chaser and Charmahal are worthy of respect. The selection won in fine style over a similar trip last week. Connections are keen to run with a penalty rather than wait till the handicapper reassess his rating. He is still only lightly raced and with further improvement to come he is sure to be in the shake up come the business end of the race. Team Chaser is six pounds higher since winning at Towcester last month. The trip and ground will suit once again so he warrants plenty of respect. Charmahal has been a frustrating horse to follow gaining only one success in eighteen outings. He did show signs of ability last summer finishing placed on a number of occasions and with Tony McCoy back on board he should not be ignored. Another low grade chase, but Tigu is a big chasing type who is still on the right side of the handicapper.
