      Verdict

      MEDITERRANEAN SEA deserves to get her head back in front. Placed in her last three starts at this track, John Jenkins' mare pushed the progressive Dontpaytheferryman all the way to the line on her latest outing. She's capable of taking care of today's rivals on that evidence. Stanley Rigby has won his last two starts here but has a 9lb rise in the weights to contend with and Magic Haze makes more appeal as he escapes a penalty for his recent victory in an apprentice race here. Mexican Jay has place claims if back to her best.
