In depth

Verdict

Tidal Fury is the confident choice in this novices' chase with Echo Point and Archie Babe also respected. The selection won very easily at Haydock last time when beating Flying Enterprise and it is clear that today's trip and ground bring out the best in him. He seems to have everything in his favour and he is entitled to go close. Echo Point is another who won easily last time when beat Delray Beach but his jumping was far from perfect that day and this drop in trip is not sure to suit. Archie Babe can't be ruled out either in this contest as he made a winning debut over fences last time at the grand old age of 10. He goes on the ground and he will not be far away at the finish. This is a decent little contest and we will side with Tidal Fury as our idea of the winner.
