Verdict

SPLIT DOWN SOUTH has won four times at Chelmsford since joining Phil McEntee in September including last week’s success. But he was beaten only a head on his only previous outing on the Fibresand and is taken to defy a penalty in this. Kupa River is back on a winning mark though needs to step up on previous efforts here while Coolagh Magic would have finished closer over track and trip last time if not for missing the break. Liamba has struggled since landing a course and distance double and Private Matter makes more appeal on last month’s second in better company here.
