    Verdict

The shape of this race could change as Gincident, Naomi's Charm and Look Back Smiling were all due to run in the 1.30 at Newcastle yesterday. But the progressive BRAVE EMPEROR is still fancied to come out best given the strength of his winning form at Wolverhampton when beating a subsequent winner with Glorious Angel, who has since landed a hat-trick, back in third. Mohatu drops back down in trip with cheekpieces applied while Dagmar Run went close at Kempton on his handicap debut and Shot Of Love is upped in trip.
