DARCY'S PRIDE has shaped better than her finishing position has suggested in a couple of recent starts and in the hope she gets the breaks today, she's the choice. Paul Midgley's charge is back to a winning mark and providing she handles the surface, has strong claims. Desert Strike finished second at Wolverhampton last time but the pick of his recent form has been over five furlongs. Whaston is relatively fresh but races over six furlongs for the first time having been placed over a mile-and-a-half here last time! Baby Judge would potentially be a bigger threat on his Yarmouth second in August but he pulled up on his hurdling debut at Market Rasen and it will be interesting to see if that race has left its mark.
