In-form hurdler LIGHT THE CITY is a course and distance winner and also won one of these events at the track under Serena Brotherton last year. They team up again for this and look worth siding with. Michael Chapman sent out last year's winner and Monzino is preferred to Mazovian of his two runners while Ballyheigue has been placed over track and trip, though hasn't raced since August. Layline has the past form to figure if in the mood but Caged Lightning was still beaten out of sight when third here last time.
