        Verdict

        The betting strongly suggested AL FARABI, an import from France, was a cut above his rivals at Kempton and he duly landed the odds with the minimum of fuss. He can shrug off a penalty in this. Abbey Gardens won over a longer trip at Newcastle last week and can figure again while Rooska finished third of only four runners at the same track and Roman Princess placed over course and distance in September. Paultons Square is related to five winners and is preferred to Guy Fawkes of the newcomers.
