Malangen only won a claimer here at the start of the month but did appear to appreciate the step up in trip. It’s three years since Salto Chisco won over hurdles and a 10lb claimer is in the saddle on his reappearance but Skiddaw Valleys goes well fresh while Methag had a run on the Flat in June. Tight Call has only win in small field so far, however, and in novice company. PERFECT CITY’s second here two weeks ago was devalued when the winner was well beaten at Uttoxeter on Saturday but he is still gets the vote to go one better, though it would be no surprise to see improvement from Dog Of War following wind surgery.
