        Verdict

        Somerset Island has been raised just 3lb for scoring over the C&D last time which isn't surprising as it was a poor race. Jupiter Fidius has never raced on an artificial surface but produced his best run for a long time on soft ground at Newcastle ten days ago. Rub Of The Relic hasn't won since landing a C&D claimer over two years ago and the veterans Hits Only Jude and Orpen Wide have been in poor form. BOLD DIVA won a 7f handicap on this track at this time a year ago and hasn't had much racing subsequently. He's on exactly the same mark today and with his young rider using his full allowance Tony Carroll's seven-year-old looks the one to be on.
