In depth

Verdict

Crookstown was a winner without a penalty at Exeter last time but failed to take advantage. Troufion went close behind At Reception, who runs in the previous race, at this track last month and BOB'S LEGEND almost defied a 12lb rise when second to Calaf at Stratford on his latest start. This looks no tougher and the latter is taken to go one better in his current mood. Bold Tara scored in heavy ground here in January though is 10lb higher for this but Surf And Turf has won off a higher mark over fences and Bold Raider also has a shout.
