Good ground suits MIDNIGHT OCEAN who is preferred here to Dolans Bay and Eastwell Smiles in a very winnable race. Despite top-weight, the selection still looks feasibly treated on his form from 2008. He has not excelled himself in three recent runs but he wasn't running a bad race when falling at the last at Stratford earlier in the month. This good ground suits and now fully fit he should run well. Super Ross looks fairly treated on his old form and has been given a chance by the grader, Tegan Lee is an unexposed novice who can make hay off her current mark of 89, whilst Eastwell Smiles has been dropped 4lb after a recent third at Fontwell and is considered accordingly. Earcomesthedream is well-handicapped, Colwyn Bay bounced back to form at Huntingdon last time, a run that coincided with a return to good ground, whilst Reelwill is 20lb lower than when starting life in handicaps 6 months ago. Sir Punjabi and Dolans Bay both come here on the back of fair efforts when well-fancied, however a chance is taken on Midnight Ocean.
