In depth

Verdict

Royal Holiday is at his best on this surface as he showed when recording his seventh victory here a fortnight ago. He beat Tiger's Home a neck on that occasion but the latter has subsequently finished a six-length runner-up to CAPELITA - Mike Appleby's charge looks up to defying a penalty on that showing and can go in again. Stablemate Tartan Trip has also won twice at the track though both times over 7f while Clockmaker is another course winner but, like most of the remainder, has yet to take advantage of a slide down the weights.
