      Verdict

      Last month's Wolverhampton winner Waahej has claims on the book though he'll need to step up on his previous efforts on the Fibresand to figure. In contrast, Calculating saves his best for this track though he does all his winning over longer trips nowadays. This surface also brings out the best in DAAWEITZA as he's scored twice over C&D and fancied to go in again today despite being 6lb higher than his win here in August. The Coolmore-owned Effervesce has shown nothing so far in three starts on the Flat for David Pipe and C P Joe makes more appeal having won in testing ground at Ffos Las on his latest start.
