Bill Bennett is the pick over Medjugorje Message, Tharua and Beamont Girl in another head-scratcher on the fibresand. The key to this contest may lie in a similar affair run here at the end of October in which Medjugorje Message beat Bill Bennett to the tune of three-and-a-half lengths. There is no denying that was a welcome effort from the ex-Irish filly on what was only her third outing for Richard Fahey, but she failed to follow up off a five-pound higher mark next time, and is now also six-pounds worse off with Bill Bennett. Jonathan Jay's runners was having his first run in six months last time they met, and on today's terms is fancied to turn the tables. Tharua also beat the selection last time as well but is another that re-opposes on worse terms, while Beaumont Girl makes her all-weather debut and was good enough to score twice on Turf from 11 starts. The rest, old Jamaican Flight included, make little appeal, and with this drop back in trip to suit, and the weights in his favour, we return to Bill Bennett as the answer.
