      In depth

      Verdict

Thaayer has run a couple of fair races at Newcastle since returning from a break but Tom Tulliver is on a long losing run and is trying a new trip. Hachert should be approaching peak fitness after a couple of runs last month but MASQOOL can give the weight away in this if Saturday’s second at Lingfield hasn’t emptied the tanks. Harriet Tucker takes off 7lb today and he won over a mile here at the beginning of the year. Hardy was second at Carlisle earlier this month but is now 0-14.
