Our Jolly Swagman,Lanmire Tower and Robbie On Tour look the three to concentrate on in a competitive opener and the narrow vote is given to Our Jolly Swagman. The selection won well last time out when beating Paxford Jack. Granted he has a penalty for that win but he won with plenty in hand and is taken to defy the handicapper under conditions that suit. Lanmire Tower rates the main danger as he also won well last time out when beating Were Not Stoppin. However this looks tougher and for that reason he is passed over on this occasion. Robbie On Tour is another worthy of respect on his best form of late but he has been disappointing for no apparent reason of late so can not be put forward with any confidence. Of the remainder Southerndown is another with place prospects on his best form but all his best efforts of late have come with more cut in the ground and in a race where stakes should be kept to a minimum for the winner we return to Our Jolly Swagman.
