Verdict

INGLEBY ARCH is a bit of a course specialist and dropped into this claiming grade looks the one to beat ahead of Clear Ice and Confuchias. The pick has a 50% strike rate at this track and is the highest rated in the field. He went close to getting a score in a handicap when rated 95 in December and after a solid run last time has to get the call now racing in this company. Clear Ice isn't badly treated by the framing of the contest and only just missed out in one of these last time. His yard has started the season well and a big run is expected. Confuchias only has a bit to do at the weights and his best recent form has come at this level so is considered while Captain Bluebird is another for the list after his improved effort last time out. A few in with chances then but we opt for the best horse in the race and Ingleby Arch.
