        Verdict

        LONG LUNCH was still in with a chance when falling three hurdles from home in a Grade 2 event at Ascot. He'd earlier won a maiden hurdle at Plumpton and looks the one to beat with a clear round. That's something Anay Turge has failed to manage over fences of late and he can race off a 9lb lower mark over timber, while Bishops Gate had made the frame over today's trip at Ayr before being pulled-up over 2m6f last time. Flemensmix has been well beaten in both starts so far and Hydrant hasn't raced over hurdles since 2009. Absolute Return makes his debut under Rules having failed to complete in a couple of point-to-points.
