Not a race to get too involved in but Garnock Venture looks to hold strong claims and can take this from Druid and Hunting Pink. Alan Berry¿s colt is still a maiden but drops to selling company for the first time and on the evidence of his course and distance third in a competitive nursery last month will take a lot of beating here. Druid also enters this grade for the first after showing bits of form in his four runs to date. He didn¿t act on the Polytrack last time but has run with credit here and at Wolverhampton so has to be given plenty of respect. Hunting Pink hails from a top yard and has run consistently well in this grade and should be on the premises again. Are You There and Oktis Morillious are from yards that do well here at Southwell and are worth checking out in the betting market, but Garnock Valley has the strongest overall form and is taken to land the prize.
