Verdict

Captain Lars is one of several course and distance winners though looks high enough in the weights now having won at Lingfield last month. Moonraker has a shout off his current mark having beaten Tricky Dicky in this grade here in August but ERISSIMUS MAXIMUS (NAP) is just preferred. The latter went close off a higher mark here when last on the Fibresand back in February but has won at Ascot subsequently and it could be his turn again today. Something Lucky was narrowly beaten in a lower grade sprint over track and trip last month and Eskimo Point is worth a second glance on his debut for new connections given he's a prolific winner in France.
