Who Dares has to be respected on the evidence of his latest second at Market Rasen but is far from certain to stay this longer trip and a better bet looks to be Mikasa, who is preferred to Miss Muscat. The last mentioned gained a deserved first success when returned to this trip at Bangor recently and has to be respected but a 6lb rise for that success leaves the Evan Williams-trained mare with more to do. Richard Ford's Good Heart should appreciate the return to chasing have struggled over hurdles last time but is 5lbs higher than when scoring here previously. Richard Guest's York Rite probably needs more help from the handicapper, while Backscratcher has to race from 7lbs out of the weights proper and the vote goes to Mikasa. Roger Fisher's gelding is less exposed than most of these and, having put in his best work close home over two miles last time, looks ready for a return to this distance.
