In depth

Verdict

A couple of these made winning debuts for new yards including Wicked West, who finished well ahead of Groom D'oudairies when scoring at Ffos Las. Pay The Woman won at the same track recently but PERCY’S WORD may edge this. Dan Skelton’s charge is back in novice company having returned a beaten favourite in a handicap at Ludlow and has every chance on these terms. Trouble Shooter placed here on his hurdling bow while Halifax debuts for new connections and Croagh Patrick has won a point-to-point.
