Platinum Pirate won with something in hand over this trip at Redcar last week and is taken to defy his 6lb penalty and follow up at the main expense of Pay Attention and Mystic Moon. Kieren Fallon is an eye catching jockey booking for the last mentioned but needs to step up on form to trouble the judge and a bigger threat may come from Tim Easterby's Pay Attention. The daughter of Revoque has slipped to an attractive mark and is entitled to come on for his recent reappearance at Redcar. Mick Channon's Ameyrah has given little sign of encouragement so far but may do better now she tackles handicaps; a comment that also applies to Gary Moore's Avertaine. However, it is difficult to get away from Platinum Pirate, who stepped up on all-weather form when winning at Redcar and should be good enough to win again, if in the same mood.
