Good Man Hughie defied a bad mistake at the last to score on very testing ground at Lingfield so more rain would greatly aid his chances. Texas Forever, a winning point-to-pointer, has been chasing but didn't show much over hurdles in his early days while Early Retirement followed a promising second at Warwick with a disappointing run at Towcester though the track may not have suited. French Seventyfive completed a double over fences last May and looks on a feasible mark on his first start for new connections though hasn't run since August. DOTHRAKI RAIDER had been well beaten at huge prices in novice events before landing a gamble at Fakenham in October. Not surprisingly the assessor took note with a massive 13lb rise but he still looks very leniently treated off 98 and looks one to follow.
