      Verdict

      Havana Dawn finished in front of We're Reunited when runner-up here earlier but was due to run at Newcastle yesterday. Mews House and Rathagan have both improved since finishing down the field in the same race here last month while Maybellene is usually thereabouts without winning and debuts on the Fibresand along with Slingshot. Constitutional finished behind SPEED MERCHANT at Kempton when the latter landed a double. Mick Appleby’s charge failed to see out the mile trip on a previous visit to the track but handled the surface well enough and gets another chance in this.
