Gaelic Storm Tough sort who won a good handicap at Leopardstown last year. Beaten a long way on sole all-weather start though and probably best watched in this.
Invader High class form in March, winning the Lincoln Trial at Wolverhampton and then fourth in the Winter Derby at Lingfield. Fair form on turf since then and cannot be ruled out on his return to sand.
Point of Dispute Won over 7f here last November and ran quite well at Newmarket last time. Every chance if he proves to be as effective over this extra furlong.
Bold King Course and distance win came in a very poor maiden back in 98 and has been disappointing on turf this year.
Night Sight (USA) In fine form last winter but disappointing on turf this year and poor effort here last time suggests he may not be too well treated.
Companion Dual course and distance winner this spring and probably found the trip too far last time. Will prefer this course and distance but may be a shade too high in the weights.
Lady Boxer Seemed to be best suited by 6f on turf and this seems a bit late to be making her all-weather debut.
Tinsel Moon (IRE) Ex-Irish. Failed to show on just two outings this year since moving to this country.
Young-Un Dual course and distance winner this time last year. Lot higher in the weights now, though, and well beaten off this mark last time.
My Tess Consistent type who has won twice here. Decent effort at Doncaster last time and expected to go well on return to sand.
Pretrail (IRE) Off the course since January and looks on a stiff mark, seven pounds higher than when winning at Wolverhampton.
Middleton Grey Progressing nicely and looking for a hat trick of course and distance wins. However carries a 6lbs penalty and steps up in class.
Harewood End Won his only previous start here by six lengths, in maiden company in April. Looks well treated on that form but has changed stables since then and did not appear to be the same horse on latest turf outings.
Flying Treaty (USA) Course and distance winner in June but well beaten here last time and this does not look any easier.
One Dinar (FR) Reasonably treated on best form and although he has looked out of sorts lately is one to keep an eye for in the market.
Lady Bear (IRE) Decent effort behind Bond Millennium last time, with several of these behind, and that makes her one for the shortlist here.
