Verdict

Macaroni Gold, Box Builder and So Vital are three against the field in another tight affair and the vote goes to the last named The four-year-old from the Jeff Pearce yard is one of the least exposed in the field and won well last time out when defeating Elegant Gracie giving the impression he would be suited by the step up in trip with this in mind he is taken to win again. Macaroni Gold rates the main danger he remains on a fair mark he won when last seen over this trip and has given the impression he has not stayed two miles on his last starts so it would be no surprise to see him bounce back to form. Box Builder won well after a long absence when defeating Doctor John last time but you must always be weary of the bounce factor so for that reason he is opposed. Of the remainder George Stubbs was a fair second behind Jair Ohmsford last time but he is not proven over the trip so for the winner we return to So Vital
