A poor contest here where the advice is to tread carefully, but SATINDRA is marginally preferred to Lindseyfield Lodge, while Bright Sparky could go very well. The selection is just about the best of a bad bunch, and acts well over this trip and on both a sound surface and also with some cut. He needs to produce his best to score, but he is a resilient sort who might just be capable of doing so from today's mark. Lindseyfield Lodge is not easy to win with but handles cut well and ran with credit at Musselburgh last time. From a 2lbs higher pitch he looks likely to get involved. Bright Sparky was last seen on the Fibresand here over 1m 6f earlier in the month. He was good enough to win at Bangor over fences from just 1lb lower than today's mark in October and should be on the premises with his good amateur up. Sir Bumble is of moderate ability but does not look well suited by the drop back to today's minimum trip, while Bold Pioneer has claims if able to act away from his beloved Sedgefield. We will side with Satindra for today.
