Mick Appleby runs the top three in the weights and Free Love finished in front of Erissimus Maximus when runner-up here recently though has been done no favours by the draw. Stablemate Fantasy Keeper has won on Turf since finding Crosse Fire too good here in August but MOONRAKER (NAP) is preferred of the Appleby trio. He’s not been at his best recently but has won three of five starts on the Fibresand including his last visit here back in February when landing a Class 2 sprint off a higher mark. Canford Bay and Afandem are not without claims but Samovar came up short in a lower grade contest here last time.
