A nice prize and a terrific little contest for the track and time of year. Veteran FINGER ONTHE PULSE is probably entitled to start favourite on the strength of his third in a Listed chase at Market Rasen. He can race off the same mark and gets a tentative vote as Billy Magern is still climbing the weights and the hat-trick-seeking Dark Energy is no certainty to confirm recent Market Rasen running with either Wiesentraum, who will strip fitter today, or the consistent Skint. Henry San only won by a head at Newton Abbot earlier this month and has more on his plate here.
