Verdict

Stand Guard made history here last month when breaking the record for most wins on the all-weather. He had no trouble beating a much lower rated rival in a match last time but will find MR BURBRIDGE a more formidable opponent in this. The latter has 3lb in hand with the former on today's terms and landed a couple of handicaps on this surface at the turn of the year. Neil Mullholland's charge gets the vote with the remainder looking to have little chance at the weights, unless Teajaybe proves much better on the Fibresand than he showed at Dundalk for his former yard.
