In depth

Verdict

It looks like another for the Henderson/McCoy partnership as VICTRIX GALE made a very promising debut behind the McCoy-ridden Cock Of The Rock at Worcester in June and will have benefited greatly from the experience. Goodtimes A'Coming finished last in a five-runner affair at Ffos Las three weeks ago and, though likely to do better, may need more time. Hazy Dawn made a fair start at Hereford in November and was still in touch when slipping up at Towcester last month. She can go well if her confidence hasn't been affected but there are a couple of very well-connected newcomers to keep an eye on, particularly Tinagenic, a French-bred who is closely related to a Grade 3 winning hurdler in France and Florafern, who has several winning bumpers in her pedigree and who hails from a yard with an excellent record in these races.
