      In depth

      Verdict

Noble Locks is confidently expected to get back on the winning trail now he is back over his best trip he is not badly handicapped and he should go well from a good draw. Bontadini was a good winner at Wolverhampton last time and if he can reproduce that effort on this very different surface he will be a danger to all. Locomotive was a good second behind Answered Promise at Haydock with cut in the ground and if he can cope with the surface he to should go close. Quiet Reading was just touched off by the bang in form Deeper In Debt last time out and that one has franked the form many times since. Geronimo ran as this trip would suit last time and he is well handicapped on his best form. Marengo could also go well despite top weight but has a bad draw to over come.
