Verdict
Trans Sonic had been in fine form at this track before running a couple of shockers back on the turf. He's the one to beat on today's terms but the veteran has his own ideas about the game and he's worth taking on if starting a short price. DOCTOR ZHIVAGO should give him a race as last season's Redcar winner showed his first form since joining Ian McInnes when third on his recent reappearance at Pontefract and has won both starts on this surface. Irish Jugger is not badly treated if producing his best and this seems like Jack Dawkins' level nowadays.
