      Verdict

      Very Well Red was engaged to run at Kempton yesterday, but even if she does turn out here, she will struggle to match ALMAHAZA. The latter returned to form over C&D last week, sprinting three lengths clear of his nearest rival, Positivity, in the closing stages. He looks set to follow up with a claimer negating most of his 6lb penalty. Escardo was placed over a mile at Kempton last month and Archilini may do better stepping up to a mile for the first time, but Marron Flore is hard to fancy after a long lay-off.
