Verdict

A poor race in which Dispol Veleta is nominated at minimal stakes to take care of Courant D'Air and Dancing Prince. The selection does have a little to prove as she steps up in trip for her handicap debut but has shaped as if she will be better suited by at least mile in her previous races. However, David Barron has found a fair opening for Dispol Veleta to tackle the next stage of her racing career and it can be guaranteed that this daughter of Makbul will be out to do herself justice today. Courant D'Air and Dancing Prince are closely matched on what they have shown to date and will not go down without a fight. The former has the edge in terms of experience at the trip and is expected to give Dispol Veleta the early tow she appears to need. Cassanos has a race within him judged on his latest start but does nothing quickly and may need more time.
