This is tougher than the race Vallarta won at Hamilton last time and he’s not won on the all-weather since scoring here in 2015. Poeta Brasileiro makes more appeal having placed over track and trip last week without looking like winning but a chance is taken on GHOST BUY. He’s been gelded and undergone wind surgery since placing at Doncaster in June but handled today’s surface well enough in better company here earlier in the year. Montalvan has only won a maiden so far but Round The Island is not badly treated on an earlier win at Pontefract, though has something to prove on the Fibresand.
