Haasab escaped a penalty for winning a conditionals’ race earlier but found one too good when sent off favourite at Sedgefield last time and is 6lb higher today. MANOR PARK has yet to win over hurdles but started handicapping off a 13lb higher mark last year and posted a much better effort at Warwick on his latest start. He gets a speculative vote to build on that and come good today. It was good going when Valgor Du Ronceray went close at Hexham last summer but Atomix should be sharper for a recent comeback run and Ubaltique can race off a 6lb lower mark back over the smaller obstacles today.
