      Verdict

      HARWOODS STAR has recorded three of his four wins to date on the Fibresand including last week's course and distance victory. John Butler's charge carries 6lb extra but was well ahead of Lucky Mark, Captain Scooby and Sir Geoffrey and can confirm running. The latter had finished in front of Fortinbrass and Spitfire when third here earlier but Hit The Lights looks a bigger threat on last week's second over 5f at the track – his first start since August. Dandy Nicholls' charge was engaged to run in the 3.15 here yesterday so the result should be monitored.
