        Verdict

        Jord can land the finale with Very Well Red and Valley Observer both worth noting. The selection has performed well at this track in the past and although he has not won since May he has been running well in defeat. He ran well to finish fourth to Hello Man at Wolverhampton last time out and as this race looks an easier opportunity for him he has to go close. Very Well Red has the ability to win a race like this but his turf form is arguably better than his all weather form. He did have a purple patch in the summer when landing a hat-trick but as a result the handicapper took note. Valley Observer is still a maiden after nine attempts but has run well on a couple of occasions suggesting he has the ability to win races but others are preferred here. So for the winner we return to Jord.
